In the paragraph of the Martin
Luther King’s book, “Where Do We Go From Here.” King were explaining to us that
violence will not solve the injustice and the inequality that’s faced Negro in
this country. He was saying the marches or the peaceful protest was the best
way to approach the white people to gain justice and fairness in the nation.
Yes he was right. Violence never should problem easily, it only makes it worse
even though sometime at the end it will benefit. For example if someone have
done you wrong and you are planning on doing them something wrong back; you
will never get to the point of solving the problem or differences you both
having. You will get hurt or he will get hurt which will not benefit both of
you. Therefore the King’s way was a very good idea of him using the marches to
solve the injustice and the inequality black people were getting from white
people in this country.
In the paragraph of the Stockely
Carmichael’s book “Stokely Speaks.” He was emphasizing that white people where
talking about nonviolence when they know themselves that they were the violent
people themselves not the negro they were accusing of being violent. He went
even further to give us some example such us president Johnson was bombing Vietnam
but nobody were talking about nonviolence, however, anytime a black man is trying to defend
himself they start talking about violence. Black people were not doing violence
they were getting violated by white people and the police. Yet the police were
not doing their job of protecting the citizen of this nation, they were doing racism
between white and black. And therefore, if black people thought securing they community
by themselves were the best way for them to get secure, they should. i will not call that violent, its the government thats violent since they are the one that failed to protect all the citizen such as the minority (black people).
